ALTsummer Program

The ALTsummer(Activities, Literacies, Technologies) Program is a six-week summer program designed to provide academic reinforcement, and emotional and social support. ALTsummer engages students in health sciences theme-related learning experiences. Students who have completed Kindergarten up through 7th grade by the end of the academic year are eligible to apply. ALTsummer provides a high energy, academic, fun-filled, and culturally inclusive environment. The experience is designed to spark engaging classroom discussions to develop skills in science such as scientific reasoning and higher order thinking.
